We, Isabella and Bernhard Stemberger, welcome you to our website. We would like to show you our home - the Stemberger organic farm which is in St. Veit in the beautiful Defereggen Valley, East Tyrol.
What makes us so special? Being certified Organic has been a top priority for us since 1995. We took over the farm in 2009 from our parents, who put their heart and soul into setting up and running the cattle farm.
Today, we run a modernized version of the organic farm. We sell our products on location, and our farm store is open to visitors every day and offers regional delicacies of the best quality. In December 2022, we welcomed our first guests to our newly built, fully equipped vacation apartments. Furnished in the alpine style typical to the region - classic yet modern - you can enjoy your time here in comfort. Our guests love life on the farm, in the middle of the Defereggen Valley - where the winter is white with snow and the alpine meadows beckon in summer.

Our vacation apartments
Our vacation apartments are furnished in the typical alpine style of the region and have been awarded the "4 Edelweiss Superior" and 3-star certifications. Our guests can choose from 4 apartments in various sizes. Modern, spacious, and fully equipped, they offer space for up to 6 people.
Our farm shop
Our farm store supplies you daily with treasures from the farm and regional specialties. The highest quality organic milk and meat products are produced directly on the farm. Short transportation routes ensure absolute freshness.
Thanks to the cooperation with various business partners from the region, we can offer our guests a colourful assortment of fresh, local and homemade delicacies all year round.
